This wonderfully appointed villa sits on a 7,000 sf beachfront lot in the exclusive residential gated and secured community of Hermosa Palms.

This rental home is an eclectic combination of traditional and modern elements. Here, tiled roofs, exposed brick domes, rock facing on walls and art pieces from various parts of the world blend with oversized windows, Italian marble, super comfortable mattresses, high-end appliances and an appealing open layout.

The property is rented as one or, during low season, just either main house (3 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms) or guesthouse (2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom) with access to terrace and private pool. The unoccupied house would be locked off.

The main house boasts high ceilings and beautifully laid ceramic tile floors in all rooms. The living area has exposed wood ceilings beams and leads out to the covered terrace through sliding doors. It has a TV, DVD player and stereo with CD player. The dining table for six is complemented by a beautiful wooden bar cabinet.

The large tiled terrace overlooking the beach and pool is ideal for outdoor living. There are lounge chairs, couches and a dining table for six. There is also a second floor sun deck that is great to achieve that perfect tan or to gaze at the stars. The pool has a separate children's pool that cascades water into it.

The gourmet kitchen, equipped with top of the line stainless steel appliances and beautiful cabinetry, has an outstanding view of the beach and pool.

The Master bedroom overlooks the terrace. It has a King size canopy bed, TV, DVD player, desk and an oversized bathroom with marble walls, two marble sinks, whirlpool tub, reinforced glass shower, outdoor shower and walk-in closet.

The two other main house bedrooms have their private bathrooms and closets, one has a Queen size bed and the other has two Twin size beds.

The adjacent guesthouse is self sufficient, with a complete kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms. Both bedrooms have closets, one has a Queen size bed and a safe deposit box and the other has two Twin size beds.

There is a storage area for surfboards and covered parking space for two cars.

The beach club is only a few feet away, with an oversize pool. The break at Playa Hermosa is one of the most consistent in Costa Rica, and well known among surfers all over the world. Playa Hermosa is a beautiful, long stretch of unspoiled beach. If you don’t surf you will enjoy walking on it and getting your feet wet, though swimming with small children is not recommended.

The surfer town of Hermosa, only a 5 minute drive away, is the closest stop for restaurants, bars and some groceries. More variety can certainly be found 10 minutes further north, in the town of Jaco.

Golf and sportfishing is only 20 minutes away, at Los Sueños Resort and Marina.
