Option #2 – A Secret Island Vacation – Fish in Paradise

There is a small Caribbean Island that is my favorite place. It’s an incredibly beautiful island with a mountain, a barrier reef, sandy beaches, incredible views, perfect weather, great food and friendly people. There is very little commercial or sports fishing on the island. I felt like Zane Grey or Hemingway fishing a remote unspoiled area for Marlin, Dorado, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, Snapper and more.

On my first trip I arranged a fishing trip through my hotel. The boat was a 14 foot homemade commercial fishing boat that trolled daisy chains of 400 pound test mono with about a dozen hooks with feathers. We fished over the reef in huge swells, I was wet all day, the motor kept shutting off, there were no life jackets, no radio, no water…the only thing on that boat that would have floated was the gas tank.

It would have been a horrible experience but we caught a bunch of fish. The 12 pound spinning rod I brought may have been the only rod and reel on the island. I caught 40 to 50 Yellowfin Tuna in the 10-15 pound range in 4 hours. We did the same thing the next day and it was incredible fishing but I honestly felt like I cheated death twice so I looked for bigger boat. I found a bigger boat and I snorkeled, fished and explored inshore the next 3 days…catching good numbers of Snapper and more.

I now have all the contacts for this remote island fishing vacation…a nice hotel and rental house, a good captain and a good fishing boat. I will travel with you to the island and guide this trip personally because I love this place so much.

Option #3 – The Luxury Vacation – Mothership Sportfishing

You and up to 7 other guest will depart from the Los Suenos Marina aboard a 100 ft Yacht with captain, crew and gourmet chef.

You will live aboard this luxury yacht as you and your friends chase Sailfish, Marlin, Tuna and Mahi Mahi up and down the Pacific Coast. We follow the bite anywhere from 10-50 miles offshore. You can also use the tender or 26 footer to go inshore and catch Roosterfish, Snapper, Wahoo, Grouper and more.
