Offshore fishing has been good the past week, but the bite has been far off. Good number of fish 45-55 miles offshore. Lucky the conditions have been perfect to run out that far. Flat calm seas, almost glassy. Temps in upper 80’s and cloudless skies.
Caught 8 for 18 Sailfish. Two jumped off after several jumps….one of those wound in 3/4 of the spool to watch the fish jump off at the transom before we got the release. Had a couple of bites that we maybe should have caught and 6 “swings and a miss”…
Today’s catch was good, 8 Sailfish and 1 Dorado and even caught a Marlin. Weather did change though in the afternoon from Sunny to short rainstorm.
A group today of 3 people, full day offshore caught 3 Sailfish and 2 Dorados.
Fishing has been good, few blue marlin around and a good showing of sailfish, they are biting better on some days than others…..
They were 0 for 2 on Sailfish and lost a Dorado. The rest of the fleet did about the same. The big full moon is a problem.
Today’s catch 14 Sails and 3 big Dolphin.
A very good day for fishing. 14 Sailfish were caught.
Today a group caught a 300lbs Marlin and 5 Sailfish.
