There are quite a few of large floating objects, trees pallets, old nets, offshore holding tons of very small yellow fins, and Dorado of all sizes, triple tails, and lots of other stuff. Good to see this showing up, makes some very good fishing. Today 8 boats went out and caught 13 Sailfish, 1 Marlin, 12 Dorado, 6 Tuna, 22 Red Snapper.

11 boats went out today and caught 38 Sailfish, 2 Marlin, 1 Tuna, 23 Grouper and 9 Red Snapper. The weather has been outstanding, and seas extremely flat with just a slight breeze. Temps upper 80’s with little cloud cover building in the afternoon. The red tide is going away and now the fish have moved back in and the good action has been 25-30 miles out. Rather than 45-50 inshore the bottom fishing has been very good for snappers and groupers. Rooster fish bite is good off the rocks.
Today’s catch 2 Sails, saw 7 had 5 bites.
We have much better news for the fishing report, a group fished the pocket today and the water was blue. They raised 16 Sailfish, had 14 bites, caught 9 and one Blue Marlin . That is one of the best days in a long time.
With one of the Sails that we caught today, there was a pack of 8 more swimming around with it……seems like we should’ve caught more than the two that we caught…..at least there are some fish around, maybe they’ll bite a little better tomorrow…
Finally that nasty water is shoving the other direction. Didn’t execute well on the bites that we had today, but we had in our baits a mixed bag of Dolphin, Sailfish, Wahoo and a very nice Blue Marlin….
16 Boats went out today and caught 14 Sailfish, 1 Marlin, 6 Dorado (Dolphin fish), 35 Red Snappers, 12 Grouper and 2 Jack fish.
