The bite out of Los Suenos has moved back in around 30 miles and is still solid. Most of the boats were raising double digit Sailfish and picking up a Dorado or two. Some of the lucky ones got a shot at a Striped Marlin or two. I heard of one or two boats that were in reverse all day long backing up on fish…so that means big Sailfish numbers…25 plus releases.

Captain Kevin on the “Hoo’s your Daddy” went 8 for 14 on Sailfish about 30 some miles South.

Captain Bill on the “Sailfish” went 9 for 18 on Sailfish with Kelly, her husband and her folks. Pops said he went fishing for 2 days in Florida and didn’t get a Sailfish….so going 9 for 18 was a special day and all were pleased.

I am lucky enough to be going out fishing with Captain Daniel and the guys on the Spanish Fly tomorrow.  The Spanish Fly is one of the most famous boats in Central America.  They consistently place in the money in more fishing tournaments than any boat I know.  I can’t wait to watch them work and I’m sure I’ll piss them off when I ask to hook my own fish with my 20 pound spinning rod.

There was originally going to be 6 on the Spanish Fly but a couple people are thinking of canceling..It may be bad Karma but I hope they don’t show up…mo fish for me. 🙂
