Hola,

The fishing the past few days out of the Los Suenos Marina continues to be good.  The bite has moved in to between 25 and 30 miles and everyone is catching fish.

The James B. party bottom fished with Captain Bill  in the morning but the bite was slow so they went offshore and released a half a dozen Sails.  They were Sailfish virgins when they came to Costa Rica…not anymore after 2 great days with Bill.

The Hix Party had a strange day on the “Sailfish”, they raised 20 Sailfish before noon but could not get a fish to the boat.  The had several multiple hook ups but couldn’t get a hook to stay.  The finished the day with 3 Sailfish releases and a big Dorado for the dinner table.

The Buckners went out with Captain Bill yesterday and went 8 for 12 on Sailfish.  I don’t think they had ever caught a Sailfish before…the captain said they were pleased.

Captain Kevin on the “Hoo’s Up” went 3 for 5 on Sailfish, they also caught a nice Dorado and a nice Striped Marlin…they fished 25 miles out.

Captain Dave on the “Missbehavin” averaged 6 Sailfish and one Dorado per day last week.

Captain Tim on the “Tres Amigos” may have the catch of the week…maybe even month with a 750 plus pound Black Marlin.  Tim and the buys were fishing the “26” when the hawg came tight.  They estimated the fish at 17 plus feet.   The “26” area has a history of big Blacks…this is one more for the list.

Captain George on the “Barrilata” went 3 for 7 on Sailfish with a nice Dorado.

Captain RJ on the “Predator” is back in the water with a new engine.

Thanks
