The past couple days have been good but not great offshore.  Many of th eguys are blaming the full moon for a lazy bite.  Everyone agrees there are a lot of sailfish offshore and not far offshore so the next couple weeks looks to be good.

Most the boats yesterday were raising 10 to 12 sailfish and releasing about 50%.  Some of the fish are coming up inthe spread going for baits and then dropping away with barly a nibble.

The crew of the 38′ Custom took some St Louis people offshore and went 3 for10 on sailfish, raised a marlin and jumped off a couple mahi mahi.

The guys on the 42′ Maverick have caught a marlin 2 of the last 3 days as well as a handful of sails and some mahi mahi each day as well as a wahoo offshore.

The crew on the 32′ Irwin Forbes has been averaging 5 sailfish and a few mahi mahi the past few days.
