The lazy fish out of the Los Suenos marina started to turn on the past couple days. There are more sailfish being caught and a good number of blue and black marlin being raised and some caught. Most of the boats are fishing in and around the corner area…about 25-30 miles offshore.
Captain Bill caught 6 sailfish and a marlin yesterday and 9 sailfish and a marlin today.
Captain Dave caught 6 sails and a 50 pound mahi mahi today…they raised 2 marlin but did not get a hook up. Dave said one of the marlin was in the 600 pound range and it was lit up like a Christmas tree.
Captain Simon caught a grand slam today with a blue marlin, black marlin, a couple sailfish and a few mahi mahi.
Captain RJ caught 3 sailfish and a big mahi mahi today…he also raised a marlin.
Captain Jeremy caught a few sailfish, a few mahi mahi and a black marlin.
The fishing was good all around today…the fish have been in the area they just haven’t been aggressive feeders…hopefully that has changed.
