I just back back from tarpon and snook fishing on the San Juan river in Nicaragua. We fished for tarpon in the morning and snook in the afternoon and I ended up with 5 tarpon between 80 - 150 pounds and 10 snook from 5 to 10 pounds. The weather was great, the food and lodging was great and the fishing was great…I couldn’t have ask for a better trip.
My shuttle van did get in a car accident on the way home…no one was hurt but the 3 hour wait for police and the insurance people made for a long day.
I’ll post more info and photos from my trip, get a local fishing report and get caught up on emails hopefully today.
