CLIMATE Costa Rica lies in the tropics yet boasts at least a dozen different climatic zones and has many diverse microclimates. This can make generalizations on temperature and rainfall misleading.
Most regions have a rainy season (May-Nov.) and a dry season (Dec.-April)
And the rainfall almost always follows a predictable schedule. The temperature in San Jose and in the mountains is usually between 70-80 degrees and the temperature at the beach is usually 80-90 degrees.
Where is Costa Rica?
