The fishing the past couple days has continued to be up and down. One day is good and one day is slow…everyone is still catching something and a few people have had banner days.

Captain Bill on the Sailfish took a group our for a half day recently and caught a couple sails…the weather was nice and they also saw dolphins and whales so it was good day.

Captain Mike Parr on the private side went fishing with the Lohmann family earlier this week and found a pod of sailfish. They ended the day going 13 for 18 on sailfish. They fished a few miles outside the corner less than 30 miles out. 13 sailfish in one day is good anytime but in July it’s amazing. The captain said they just got into a migrating gang of sails that were feeding on small shrimp.

I heard the guys on “The Bite” caught a 800 plus pound marlin yesterday.
