The fishing the past week out of the Los Suenos Marina has been fairly uneventful.  The fish are still out there…but when the charter docks are slow there is not much to report.  The boats that are going offshore are still catching some mahi mahi and a sailfish or two.  The guys fishing inshore are still catching roosterfish and jack even on half day trips.

Captain Brandon Keene on the Fish Whistle took some guys out recently for some inshore fishing.  Brandon already had some live bait in his livewell so they hit a couple inshore rocks withing 3 miles of Los Suenos.  \They ended the day with some nice snapper for dinner and a 150 pound sailfish.  It’s not very often you get a sailfish when inshore fishing…but with live bait you just never know.

Captain Bill on the Sailfish took some guys out for a day offshore.  They fished 30 miles out and were rewarded with a few nice mahi mahi in the 40 pound range.
